10 Mile PR 57:22
15K PR 53:24
10K PR 34:29
5K PR 16:32
Short-Term Running Goals: Start running again and run 1:30 for a half marathon this fall.

Sub 17 5K, Sub 36 10K.
Personal: I am married and have two wonderful kids, 14 and 10. I've been running since 1982. I never get "basic" injuries. I always get the real nasty career threatening kind, like stress fracture of the sacrum, ganglion cyst clamping down on my peroneal nerve. Favorite Blogs: |

| Ran from Rose-Hulman to Red Fox sub and ran 5x1000m in not too bad of times (4:24,4:10,4:06,3:56,3:59). Almost bailed after three. It's been several months since I did speed work. Kinda cooked the legs on the fourth one. Temp tolerable, 28 and a little breezy. This was supposed to be an 8x200m workout, but the legs were completely shot from the weekend runs.

| This run on the treadmill sucked. 4 miles in 34:16. Had to cut it "down" from 8 minute pace. Legs are just too sore from the 1000s on Tuesday. Have 6" of snow on the ground and just not dealing with that. Last time it snowed it made me sore for almost a week. Ran in the new Mizuno's which I still don't like, but trying to wean off of the low heel-to-toe drop Kinvaras. I'd have to say that my calfs feel tons better already though. Gonna bail on Saturday's trail race as it's supposed to warm up and be a snowy/muddy mess.

| Ran a pretty good 10 miles in 1:14:05 in a "warm" and sunny 34 degrees. All the snow was plowed from the trail, so that was nice. Struggled in spots, but overall a solid run.
